By using InterTwined, you agree to these terms. InterTwined is provided by SampaTek Labs LLC.

The service

InterTwined is a pattern tracking app for knitters and crocheters. It helps you follow knitting and crochet patterns by organizing sections, counting rows, and displaying your PDF alongside a tracker. The app uses AI to analyze pattern PDFs and structure them for tracking.

Credits and purchases

The app includes 3 free pattern extractions and 25 AI assistant messages.
Additional credits are available as one-time in-app purchases ($4.99 for 4 extraction credits and 25 assistant messages).
Credits never expire and are not subscription-based.
Credits are consumed when an extraction begins. Credits are not refundable regardless of extraction quality.
Purchases are processed by Apple and subject to Apple's refund policies.

AI accuracy

Pattern extractions are generated by AI and may contain errors. InterTwined provides a quality score for every extraction across seven dimensions so you can evaluate the results. Always refer to your original pattern PDF — it is displayed alongside the tracker for this reason.

InterTwined is a tracking aid, not a replacement for reading your pattern. We are not responsible for errors in knitting or crochet projects that result from AI extraction inaccuracies.

Pattern copyright

All pattern content belongs to the original designers and publishers. InterTwined does not claim ownership of any pattern content. The app reads and organizes pattern text for personal tracking use only. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any pattern you import.

InterTwined does not generate, modify, or redistribute pattern instructions. The AI identifies structure (sections, row counts, sizing) from your existing PDF — it does not create new instructions.

Curated library

The InterTwined pattern library contains patterns that are freely available from their designers. These patterns are served with attribution to the original designer and links to their published sources. If you are a designer and want a pattern removed, contact us at dev@sampateklabs.com.

Your data

Your project data is stored locally on your device. You can delete any project at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the app to redistribute copyrighted pattern content.
Attempt to exploit the credit system or extract patterns in automated bulk.
Reverse-engineer the extraction pipeline or AI prompts.
Use the AI assistant for purposes unrelated to pattern tracking.

Availability

InterTwined depends on external services (Anthropic API for AI extraction, Firebase for the pattern library). We do our best to maintain availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. The app monitors service status and will notify you of any issues.

Limitation of liability

InterTwined is provided "as is." SampaTek Labs LLC is not liable for any damages arising from the use of the app, including but not limited to incorrect pattern extractions, lost progress, or service interruptions. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid for credit packs.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app evolves. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
